Silver and Suffolk Sea Glass Charm Pendant
Silver and Suffolk Sea Glass Charm Pendant
This unique two piece necklace has been handmade using silversmithing techniques incorporating silver and sea glass.
A unique pendant design featuring a piece of brown sea glass encased in fine silver which hangs alongside a solid sterling silver pebble handmade from molten silver with a textured surface.
The beauty of this necklace is that each piece can be removed from the chain and worn individually, for three different looks.
The beautiful piece of sea glass was discovered by myself while beach combing on my local Suffolk shores.
The sea glass I use will have been tumbled in the ocean for many years and will therefore show the natural indentations and pitted marks caused by the tumbling of the sea.
Hand crafted, forged, set and polished in my studio workshop in Suffolk.

🌿Caring for your jewellery
I do not recommend letting the jewellery get wet. Over time the sea glass may start to look white from the natural frosting, if you prefer the sea glass to look brighter in colour you can rub a small amount of oil in to it and gently polish with a lint free cloth. I recommend using a tiny amount of baby oil which is safe for skin contact.
Please take care to avoid your silver jewellery coming close to products such as hairspray, perfume and cleaning products, they can affect the silver by tarnishing it. I would recommend removing jewellery before bathing, swimming and going to bed and storing in the box when not being worn. Use a silver polishing cloth or the little cloth provided to silver.
Please note : due to lighting colour may vary and differ across devices.
🌿What is Sea Glass?
Genuine sea glass began its life as a human-made object, such as bottles and tableware, before finding its way in to the sea after being discarded. These glass objects, or shards, are tumbled by the sea for many years even decades before being washed ashore where they can be found with their gorgeous frosted finish found only in natural sea glass.
The sea glass used in my collection was found by me either on our Suffolk shores or while on vacation on the island of Paxos in Greece. Each piece has been carefully selected before being used in my designs.
